Despite the return of the news article section, it looks like much more is expected in the coming months.

To summarize what is happening, the webmaster of Drevonor has expressed the idea of closing down the web servers (likely between September and October this year) and has advised me to migrate to another web server. Not going to reveal any more details since I want to leave it up to the webmaster to have his say on the matter.

Now this may sound like bad news at first but it has opened the door for better opportunities with what I could do with the website going forward and how it can be managed.

The solution I am looking to explore would be self-hosting. I believe this route would enable ideas that would otherwise cause issues with the current webserver mostly due to the lack of storage space to support it. These following ideas I wanted to explore for awhile were providing retro-friendly versions of my YouTube videos and running a discussion board. The latter I imagine not gaining much traction at all due to the current state of the internet being centralized social media platforms and and the fact that people hide helpful information inside a fucking Discord server! but I believe it should serve as a alternative portal to those wanting to share good information that can be accessed publicly.

Though I am unsure about pulling it off due to factors involving reliability and security. On top of that, I am concerned if the method I am going for may kill off support for legacy browsers like Internet Explorer 3 but if I had no choice, I would be lucky to have support for Internet Explorer 5. (In hopes to keep the site accessible to Protoweb users as a passthrough website)

But once I figure it all out then maybe I can push what I want out of this website even more. Maybe the gallery could make its return with the original intact images becoming available. Or maybe I can finally self-host my art including the naughty ones because FUCK censorship and age verification!

Last change to be expected would be a new domain. Back in January 17, 2025, I have announced a slow rebranding away from "THEBaratusII" name to ensure a complete focus on my VTuber persona. Later on that I year, I adopted the nicknames "NerdBooba" and "NerdTits", the latter only used for games that allow names up to 8 characters. This would almost mean the domain would now be nerdbooba.com or nerdtits.com but I want to avoid that since I don't want to give out the impression of this site being an X-rated website dedicated to nerdy women with big honkers.

If anything I aim for my VTuber name being the new domain.

Now onto the last thing to write in this article. When the website went live in mid-2021 as an affiliate to the former Razorback95.com website, this website has seen plenty of evolutions and I enjoyed the fact I can access it on older browsers. A thing that I really wanted beforehand but the closest I had was either Geocities.ws or GitLab but I am limited to Internet Explorer 5 and the fact I am dealing with static .HTML only.

That I am forever grateful for because I didn't have the confidence to host my own 24/7 and most of the hosting options were limited. Now that I have the resources to finally pull it off, I hope the migration ends up well when the time comes. (Otherwise I might just merge this site to akage.duckdns.org (House of Akage Network)

I really want to thank the webmaster of Drevonor/Razorback95.com for allowing me the chance to run the website for these past five years. It is an end of an era but I hope the next chapter will be even better. Anyway that should be it for now! Stay tuned! ^^
