Twango1 is a Deathmatch community mapset led by OpenRift back in 2021, containing 32 levels that attempt to keep the spirit of the original DWANGO compilations, made by Doomworld members over the course of two months.
In addition to the WAD's being completely vanilla compatible (and can be run on practically any source port that supports multiplayer), Twango1 contains widescreen-friendly assets in a separate. WAD file and features numorous custom textures and a custom status bar. Twango1 includes a DeHackEd patch that replaces the intermission text with more humorous additions.
The release of Twango1 was celebrated over at the DOSBox Deathmatch Club with a tournament titled "Deathmatch '21" and funny enough, that was the first and likely only tournament being held in the community as the gathering for the tournament proved to be inconsistent. Even funnier is that it took place on my 21st birthday, and the fact that I won that tournament makes it even more funnier.
